Manuel Valdez, Instructor
Manuel Valdez, Born in Ecatepec, State of Mexico, at 8 years of age moved to Ezequiel Montes, Qro., where I had my first experience and training with horses. At the age of 22 I obtained a degree in Social Anthropology from the Autonomous University of Querétaro.
"I decided to go and learn about the world of horses. My first experience with horses at the La Golondrina equestrian show, in the city of Oaxaca. I learned to ride, learned the basic care of a horse. Shortly after, I was an instructor at the school. My desire to continue learning led me to know the work of Oscar Scarpati, known as “The Horse Whisperer of Pampa and of Doma India Scarpati,. I was impressed and decided to travel to Argentina to learn this way of communicating with horses. Don Oscar not only taught me about horses but about life itself and its philosophy”:

Manuel also says, “I am currently part of the Rancho Maguey team, where we work to improve the man-horse relationship, demonstrating that we can achieve great communication and a strong bond with horses. We promote NO violence and respect for these animals, showing that if I understand and communicate with my horse it is because I can also do it with myself.”

We offer boarding, training for horses with problems. Manuel is an amazing ‘horse listener’, who has build his reputation not only in our magical town, but in various countries. His method of ‘listening’ to horses is a NO violence training and creating a bond between horse and human.
Ofrecemos pensión, entrenamiento para caballos con problemas. Manuel es un increíble "oyente de caballos", que ha construido su reputación no sólo en nuestro pueblo mágico, sino en varios países. Su método de "escuchar" a los caballos es un entrenamiento SIN violencia y la creación de un vínculo entre el caballo y el ser humano.
